Why "WaterDoggs"?
It's named for my dog — eleven now, and my fishing partner for a decade of cold mornings on the water.
He's too old to make the trip these days, so he supervises from the bank. That's him on the badge. The name's for him.

I'm a self-taught angler chasing whatever swims, wherever the water runs — and I got here by reading everything I could get my hands on.
Lifelong aquatic-life nerd: I want to know the bug and the fish before I ever make the cast. I tie my own flies by hand on an antique vise, and I'm working toward my guide license.
